Talk about a shitty birthday… I didn’t do anything for it, but my dad took me out for dinner at a place called Hector’s in downtown Kirkland. He ate this meal that came with spinach. The spinach was completely rancid. It was just totally foul. It was warm and tasted like it had some putrid vinegar on it. It was so ghastly that he actually threw some on my fish taco and said “eat that shit… it’s rancid”.
Well then a couple days later he got extremely sick. Explosive diarrhea , uncontrollable vomiting… the works! I was pretty proud of him. He blamed it on some Swanson’s Chicken Pot pie’s he had that night. The uncontrollable vomiting was so splendidly uncontrollable that he actually lost his voice for a few days (a blessing, I must admit…). Then recently he had been going around to anyone who would listen in a scratchy whisper, “ssswansons chicken pot pie… food poisoning… explosive diarrhea… if you build it… tthhey will come…”.
Well we just come to find out that there is a bit of an ecoli outbreak going on: E. coli outbreak leads to explosive diarrhea.
Be weary of rancid putrid spinach. Popeye lied, son… Popeye lied…
